Decor dark and dated, not up to 4 star standard. Price of dinner high for the quality offered. Waited over half an hour for dessert menu which never arrived so left restaurant without having dessert. Did not eat in restaurant on 2nd night due to previous night's service. Read more

I stayed at this hotel as it was hosting the training I was booked on for. It was a lovely calming and peaceful place. Although evidently short staffed the staff that were there couldn’t do enough for you. Would stay here again if I was in the area. Read more

The hotel is set in acres of well landscaped woodland and gardens. Unfortunately the weather was very inclement so we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the grounds. The hotel was good and we received an upgraded room in the main hotel. The hotel was quiet even though there seemed to be a lot of guests staying. The only disappointment was possibly the clientele dress sense for breakfast, I am not sure that Bermuda shorts are really appropriate dress. Read more
