Pre-booked our tickets, question but not for long. Went with 9,11,11 & 13 year old but they all loved it, was busy but defo worth a visit. The taxi can ride towards the end was very good and the 4D cinema is defo worth a visit, absolutely fantastic.

This was intended to be a wedding anniversary trip to London for the Eye and Madam Tussauds Based at Premier Inn Euston after pushing my wheelchair in the biting cold and rain with our already printed tickets at the ready we arrived at 11:00am, the queues stretched way down the street with various doors available depending on where you booked. We spoke to a helpful man a door six showed him our tickets and he said have you booked a wheelchair slot as they can only accommodate so many at a time, something we were unaware of so obviously we hadn't ..He told us to come back at 2:00pm so for three hours we killed time !!!... When we go back, knackered and cold we managed to get in without issue but had to was 10 minutes before someone could escort us through to the attraction because of steps to the entrance. When we went through the doors we were greeted by a sea of bodies all travelling in the opposite direction to us ( we entered at the end of the first part of the attraction and had to make our way through everyone else to the front, this happened for every level !! ) With no respect for my position people just were just ignorant we didn't see hardly any exhibits people were in front barging away and generally fall over me thoughout the visit . This continued for every floor ...beware wheelchair users everyone is out for themselves and give disapproving looks for the disabled people interrupting their selfies with the figures . ...the whole experience was horrendous... sorry Madam Tussauds.never again !! This place has got so many visitors that there’s no more place for any positive experience. Lines to get in (even with e-ticket bought in advance), crowds inside.

We walked into Madame Tussaud's with high hopes after visiting the one in Sydney and loving it. After a very confusing line up we were told to go through to the lifts where we had to wait until it was full. Afterwards we then went up in the lift which was quite awkward as everyone felt uncomfortable. There were a lot of wax models like Tom Hiddleston, Shrek, Cara Delevingne as well as the British Royal Family. However the 13 year old teenage girl we were travelling with was most upset that they did not have Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran or Joe Alwyn. Taylor Swift being one of the most popular singers on the planet at the moment and Ed Sheeran and Joe Alwyn being British, we were quite surprised. We were rather disappointed with the music display in general as it was quite outdated with people like The Beatles and One Direction who aren't even a band anymore! The Spirit of London Ride was alright but some parts were a bit confusing. The Marvel 4D Cinema was quite good but a little cheesy. Kids enjoyed it though. The Sherlock Holmes Experience was brilliant however it ended very abruptly and we were never really told why Sherlock went missing. It also scared our eight year old so don't recommend it for young kids! Wouldn't return unless we knew there was a lot more people for us to see and if there was a significant price drop! Collapse

I was really interested in the Sherlock Holmes exhibit, being a long time Sherlock fan. I didn't prebook my ticket as there seemed to be some problem with the website taking my payment, but I would definitely recommend prebooking. The line can be quite long and it will save you a few pound. So when I (finally) got to the ticket counter, I asked to upgrade my ticket to include the Sherlock Experience, and she informs me it closes at 4pm and I will miss it. That fact is not mentioned anywhere on the website. She gave me a voucher for 1pound off a slushie, which was nice but little comfort. I didn't think it was especially good value for money and I wouldn't bother going again. I've been to other wax museums that seemed to have more figures. I'm not a Star Wars fan so that being included in admission wasn't a bonus for me. I am a Marvel fan though and the Marvel 4D experience was alright, I heard kids really enjoying it Collapse
