Completely spoiled the final day of our London trip!! Please be advised that if you are a wheelchair user, this place is not suitable!! The crowds are awful & people pushing in everywhere! There is no order, no queuing system & no staff to give guidance!! We queued for over an hour to get near the entrance, where we were finally met by a staff member who then told us that the lift was broken & we could only have partial access that day!! I completely understand that lifts can break, but what I can’t get my head around is fact that two staff members saw us queuing & failed to let us know!! Apparently there is a special door for wheelchair users, but unless we were mind readers, how were we supposed to know & you can’t get near any door cos of the crowds pushing everywhere!! It was one of the most scariest experiences, even in the queue!! I was so upset & for the gallery to be one of London’s biggest attractions, it is disgraceful that this is the way we were treated!! To be fair Nicola tried to make the experience a bit better & then Emily! But had we known, we could have spent our time in London doing something that would have been accessible & instead we wasted over 3 hours of our day on nothing!!! A refund was offered, but sadly this didn’t cut it, as we lost the value of our entire day & the trip cost us a lot overall!! Why, why, why did no-one advise us that access wasn’t available that day!!! We wud not have hauled through London in the tubes to get there!!! very, very upsetting!! Collapse

I first visited this place over 30 years ago and have some very strong memories. It did not disappoint this time round. The horrors of the London dungeons have now made way for the taxi ride through the history of London - that was very good. Lots of space even with all the exhibits in but as we went early, it was not too crowded. Merlin company do bombard you many opportunities to part with your hard earned cash with coin minting machines, tea rooms, gift shops and photos galore. My advise is to take you own phone / camera and a selfie-stick and create your own memories! If you fancy a soft drink when you are in the gift shop - don't buy it there! Go across the road and then down Baker Street to any of the outlets there where they are much cheaper. The queuing system outside is a little odd and needs to be looked into as it is not obvious from your on-line booking whether you have to queue for one door or to collect your tickets from another. If you are going at a peak time, then definitely worth buying your tickets online in advance and pay the extra to queue jump! Collapse

It's a great place to be, to see up close to all celebrities from all walks of life-Hollywood and Bollywood actors, world sports stars, politicians, famous personalities. I have also been to Hong Kong Madam Tussauds but this one is the original one and much more elaborate. You get to stand next to your personal favorites and click pictures as if they are for real and it's exciting for everyone. There are long queues but managed. This museum also shows you the story of Madam Tussauds and museum history, how moulds are created and how statues are made. Good learning for everyone, especially for kids.Must visit if first time in London ! Buy tickets online and save yourself from queues. Collapse

Visited on a rainy Sunday with pre bought tickets. Queuing system was complete chaos. No staff to tell you where to go. People queuing in all directions just shrugging if you asked anyone for help. Once inside we really enjoyed walking round. Disappointingly you have to pay extra for the Alien attraction which is billed As a terror maze when it reality it’s just a couple of dark corridors - one of the actors seemed disinterested and we weren’t the only couple at the end to ask was that it. The rest of the attraction was pretty good with a highlight being the travel through time ride (free) and the marvel superhero section. Collapse
