About Wicked

Enjoy the magical musical about the untold story of Oz. The original Broadway production starred Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth, and the show has gone from strength to strength ever since. The show has won over 100 major international awards and is sure to spellbound audiences for many years to come.

The Story

Wicked the Musical is the unforgettable story of Oz as never seen before. It follows an incredible tale of an unlikely friendship of two very different girls and their extraordinary adventures in Oz. One is blonde and popular, the other is green and misunderstood and after meeting as Sorcery students they embark on a journey that will change their lives.

History of Wicked

Wicked arrived on Broadway in 2003 and was then introduced to the West End in 2006. The screenplay was adapted from the popular 1995 novel of the same name, written by Gregory Maguire.
