We Will Rock You Show Information

Set in a futuristic universe, this electric show illuminates the life and times of Queen, featuring an array of bestselling songs that’ll have you flailing your arms and singing along.

About We Will Rock You

Don't miss one of the greatest and longest running shows in history. We Will Rock You hits the Donald Gordon Theatre from the 6th to the 18th April 2020 and is bound to have Cardiff on its feet, with a smash-hit soundtrack, including Radio Ga Ga, Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody and, of course, We Will Rock You.

The Story

The songs of Queen are used to bind the narrative together in a wonderful piece of musical theatre. The plot is loosely based on the life of Queen but set in 300 years in the future in a dystopian universe. Everyone wears the same sort of clothes, listens to the same sort of music, and goes about their lives in a haze of copy and paste. However, a small group of "Bohemians" come about to restore the free exchange of thought, fashion, and live rock music.

History of We Will Rock You

The original production of We Will Rock You opened on 12 May 2002 at the Dominion Theatre, London. Since then, over 16 million theatre-goers in 19 countries have rocked along to this awe-inspiring production. You’ll hear 24 of Queen’s biggest hits delivered in electric performance after electric performance. It’s the fifteenth longest-running musical in West End history.
