The first-ever UK and Ireland tour of Titanic the Musical comes to Cardiff in April 2018

About Titanic the Musical - Cardiff

Marking the 106th anniversary of the maiden voyage of the "unsinkable" liner, Titanic the Musical showcases the lives of real people who travelled to America on that fateful journey. After successful runs on Broadway and in London, Titanic the Musical begins a UK tour in 2018 and docks in Cardiff during April and May.

The Story

Based on real people aboard the legendary ship, Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's stunning musical focuses on their hopes and aspirations. Unaware of the fate that awaits them, the Third Class immigrants dream of a better life in America, the newly-enfranchised Second Class dream of achieving the lifestyles of the rich and famous, and the millionaire Barons of First Class dream of their mastery lasting forever.

History of Titanic the Musical - Cardiff

Having received its UK premiere in 2013 at the Southwark Playhouse, the production returned to London in 2016 for a 10-week season at the Charing Cross Theatre, where it won overwhelming critical acclaim. With music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a book by Peter Stone, the original Broadway show won five Tony Awards including Best Musical, and this brilliant new production has won sweeping critical acclaim.
