About The Mousetrap

A West End institution, Agatha Christie’s classic play The Mousetrap has delighted audiences for over 26,500 performances, having initially opened way back in 1952. A classic whodunit where everyone is a suspect, seeing The Mousetrap has become a quintessential theatrical experience. Famous for its twist ending, tradition dictates that audiences be asked not to reveal the solution to this famous mystery. With a brand new cast, the Mousetrap is as fresh as ever as it enters its 65th year

The Story

Set in a country hotel recently opened by a young couple, the hoteliers and their five guests become snowbound one evening. Soon a policeman, Detective Sergeant Trotter, arrives to tell them that a murderer is on the loose and is heading straight for them. Sure enough, one of the party soon falls foul at the hands of the murderer. Who was the killer? Suspect everyone.
