Endgame Theatre Show Information

Watch Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Cumming in Samuel Beckett’s play, Endgame.

About Endgame

Samuel Beckett’s Endgame arrives at The Old Vic theatre next year in a brand-new off-West End revival. Starring Tony Award-winning actor Alan Cumming and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, the play is expected to hit the ground running during its 9-week run between 27 January and 28 March 2020. Endgame will be presented in a double bill alongside another play by Beckett – Rough for Theatre II.

The Story

Endgame tells the story of blind man Hamm (Cumming) and his servant Clov (Radcliffe), who spend their days bickering like an old married couple. Occasionally, they are joined on stage by Hamm’s parents – completing the play’s tiny cast of just 4 characters.

History of Endgame

Originally written in French, the play premiered in London in 1957. Since then, it has been staged all over the world including Australia, Germany, and the USA.
