Superb RSC Production

The Swan's Nest proved to be a clean and comfortable hotel. As they did not do evening meals, they were happy to provide plates for us to eat a M&S salad in the hotel. They also provided ice to See More  Read more information chill a rather special bottle of wine we had brought with us! The atmosphere at the Theatre was electric. We came home to York and tried to book another break using the same hotel and which was a shortbut delightful walk from the theatre. Fantastic Play - Well Organised

Superbreaks looked after all the arrangements and the documentation in advance including the theatre tickets. Unfortunatley we left the tickets at home- one panicky call later to Superbreaks and See More  Read more information they had arranged for a duplicate set of tickets at the theatre - much appreciated & brilliant service! The hotel was good however I did feel that the restaurant and bar staff always looked miserableand serious. I feel they needed to smile more to help with the atmosphere. Stratford - There And Back Again

Break began with visit to National Mining Museum, Wakefield. Excellent, especially the trip underground by pit cage. National trust properties around the Stratford area were well worth visiting. make sure you book ahead for the restaurant (Quattros) at the RSC. For a play starting at 1930 book for 1730 so you can enjoy the meal and not rush it !! Weekend in the Cotswolds

We took the scenic route to Witney from Stevenage and went on to Burford, where we had lunch. Then moved onto Stow-in-the-Wold and looked around the town.Then made our way to Blockley. We wanted to See More  Read more information stay at the Crown Inn (13th Century) and it had a very good restaurant and service, with a very good full English breakfast the following morning. Visited Broadway Tower, the village itself, Moretonin the Marshes, the Pudding Club of Great Britain in Mickleford and sampled their puddings.
