Nostalgic Visit To Kent

Stay Date: 14/08/09, a customer from Hertfordshire who stayed at 3* Holiday Inn Express Ramsgate Minster in Ramsgate wrote this review.

Decide to have a nostalgic visit to Thanet where I had many holidays as a family staying in a caravan. Pleasant trip to Canterbury. River trip worth going on. Recommend park and ride. Hotel was easy See More  Read more information to find, bright clean and comfortable within easy access to other places and near to village of Minster where there are pubs a supermarket and other small shops and a popular indian restaurant. Pitythat the hotel restaurant is only open Monday to Friday. Many attractions around, plenty of coastal walking, cycling(the viking trail) and seaside towns. Broadstairs still looking much the same afterall those years. Good beaches and cliff walks. Parking difficult at weekends. Manston airport worth visiting if you are interested in aeroplanes. Stopped at Whitstable on the way home. Busy livelytown and greast for fresh seafood!.   Collapse  Hide

Visiting Relatives In Sussex

Stay Date: 21/03/10, a customer from York who stayed at 3* Hickstead Hotel in Brighton (Nr) wrote this review.

The Hickstead hotel offers good quality accomodation in rural surroundings, yet very convenient for the A23. The other side of the hotel faces their large car park, from which sidelight sleepers with the window open run the risk of being awoken by guests departing early in the morning for Gatwick airport. The breakfasts are excellent. A good standard of evening meal is offered, but we dined with our relatives in the evenings.   Collapse  Hide
