Edinburgh Sunshine

Stay Date: 27/08/13, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 2* Britannia Hotel Edinburgh in Edinburgh wrote this review.

Great little break away. Although the room looked very basic, it worked. The staff were helpful and we had a great time meeting fellow guests and having a good laugh down in the bar area. Time in See More  Read more information Edinburgh gorgeous in the sunshine, last visit had been in December when we arrived in the snow. Lovely city, great people. All good. Especially liked being able to find a quite space in the heart ofthe city walking along the waters of Leigh, seeing buzzards, squirrels, loads of ducks and generally chilling, then going up into the city and experiencing the life. Oban In The Autumn

Stay Date: 23/10/11, a customer from Uk who stayed at 2* Caledonian Hotel in Ullapool wrote this review.

Having travelled from fife up to inverness and then on to ullapool, we were glad to get a good cup of tea in our hotel room. We took a look at the evening meal menu and decided to stay at the hotel. See More  Read more information Meals were excellent. There was even proper scottish musical entertainment provided by an excellent harmonium player which was a real treat. If more people visited the caledonian hotel, the ownerswould be able to spend a little bit of money making a few decor improvements as it was a bit tired, but for us, the weekend was a huge success. Thanks to all.   Collapse  Hide

A beautiful place. I would not recommend the hotel we stayed in for longer than a night. They are geared up for coach tour rather than meeting the needs of visitors who are spending up to 5 nights. See More  Read more information   Collapse  Hide

Hotel was lovely and very clean and friendly. Parking was a nightmare as some of the streets were closed off due to the flood prevention work being undertaken - not the hotels fault.
