Great Location

Stay Date: 03/08/07, a customer from Co Kildare who stayed at 4* The Marylebone Hotel in Oxford Street wrote this review.

Hotel is in a great spot. Really central - so close to Oxford St. We were able to walk around most of the weekend or jump in a taxi relatively cheaply. Got late check-out on Sunday which was See More  Read more information brilliant. Breakfast is fantastic and staff so friendly in the restaurant. Hotel being renovated though so had to use stairs (Which was fine because we were on the 1st floor). Room was fine - I had emailedand asked for a renovated room (on the advice of a friend) but didn't get one. Great hotel for the price if you don't expect too much from the rooms.   Collapse  Hide

London Theatre Visit

Stay Date: 06/08/07, a customer from Hampshire who stayed at 3* St Giles London - A St Giles Hotel in Oxford Street wrote this review.

We stayed mainly in the Westminster Area and as the weather was so good walked to Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye,(all very close See More  Read more information together)using the tube to visit the Tower of London. If the weather is good and you have the time to walk give the tube a miss. It was extremely hot down there and uncomfortable. The parks were lovely areas toget into away from the crowds which at times made walking about difficult.   Collapse  Hide

London in August!

Stay Date: 15/08/07, a customer from Stonehaven who stayed at 3* St Giles London - A St Giles Hotel in Oxford Street wrote this review.

First trip to London - birthday surprise for my daughter. Very very busy place and very expensive!! Enjoyable trip though - main purpose was to attend the theatre to see Wicked! This musical is a See More  Read more information must see for all - thoroughly professional and entertaining - the best piece of musical theatre we have ever seen!! London was expectedly busy during the day at the attractions. We visited the LondonEye - no need for fast-track - the system is efficient enough to be enjoyable. Visited the London Aquarium -we felt it was pricey for what it was compared to the likes of Loro Parque in Tenerife.   Collapse  Hide
