YSP Encourages Half Term Visits
Date Posted: 24/10/13
Well-known West Yorkshire art venue the Yorkshire Sculpture Park is encouraging people to visit this October half term.
It reports that October 29th and 30th will see an Albion’s Forest: Big Draw Family Workshop held. Meanwhile, on November 3rd, the Park will be celebrating Diwali. The YSP says that its half term activities are linked with the UK's Family Arts Festival.
It's also reminding people that three of the exhibitions it is currently hosting will close on November 3rd.
These are the Lucy + Jorge Orta show, the Sculpture Series Heads exhibit from Jon Edgar and the interior-based part of the Hans Josephsohn exhibition. The Josephsohn exhibit has an open air element that will be on display at the park until early 2014.
The splendid Leeds Art Gallery isn't far from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Leeds hotels would also offer a great accommodation option for those wanting to check out both these venues.
