York Landscape Photography Exhibit Opens
Date Posted: 22/11/13
This week marked the start of a photography exhibition at the National Railway Museum in York.
Beginning on November 21st, the exhibition, like the railway-themed venue it is housed in, is free to get into. It will be in place until May 5th next year and is called 'Landscape Photographer of the Year: Lines in the Landscape'.
According to organisers, the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition dates back to 2006, and has Network Rail as a sponsor.
The exhibition will collect winners who competed over the last four years.
The museum is close to York rail station itself, and is certainly one of the places anyone on short breaks in the city will want to think about visiting.
In York there's also a chance to see the Minster (pictured here), Betty's, Jorvik and many, many other attractions, including a range of both chain and independent shops in the city centre.
