War Horse extends run at New London theatre to 2013

West End favourite War Horse has had its run extended well into 2013.
Those booking city breaks will now be able to see the production up until Saturday February 16th of that year.
It transferred to the New London theatre in March 2009 from the Olivier NT, where it enjoyed two successful runs.
The show is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo and is directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris.
It tells the story of Albert's beloved horse Joey who is sold to the cavalry at the outbreak of World War One and shipped off to France.
Joey goes on to serve on both sides during the war and his owner, struggling to survive without his partner, embarks on a mission to find him and bring him home.
Earlier this year, War Horse claimed five prizes at the Tony Awards, including the gong for Best Play.
