Visit Glasgow's Book Festival
Date Posted: 26/02/14

Bookworms to Glasgow this spring can delight in the fact that from April 4th to 12th, the city will be holding it’s annual Aye Write! - Glasgow’s Book Festival.
The festival will bring an exciting range of writers and speakers to the city, as well as an inspiring programme of creative writing workshops and events.
This year’s Aye Write! will also have a special Commonwealth focus as part of the Culture 2014 celebrations for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. ?
Highlights of the event include the chance to meet Ian Whybrow, creator of the well-loved Harry and the Dinosaurs series; a workshop on making a picture book with author Allison Murray and a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Day. The latter will feature a Willy Wonka runaround quiz, the chance to play ‘Chocolate Bingo’ and hunt the Golden Ticket.
Why not make your visit to the festival part of a short break to the Scottish city?
