Van Morrison adds Edinburgh and Aberdeen gigs to schedule

Van Morrison has added two Scottish dates to his list of performances in 2012, with gigs set to take place in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
The singer-songwriter is already playing a host of dates in February and March this year, with fans looking forward to shows in Belfast, Gateshead, York, Brighton and Bournemouth.
Music lovers booking Edinburgh hotels will now be able to see him in Scotland's capital city at its Playhouse Theatre on Saturday March 31st, with another appearance booked for Aberdeen's Musical Hall on Sunday April 1st.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Van is known for studio albums such as Astral Weeks and Moondance, while live collection It's Too Late to Stop Now is critically-acclaimed.
Among the artist's singles are popular hits like Brown Eyed Girl, Spanish Rose, Gloria, Jackie Wilson Said (I'm In Heaven When You Smile) and Bright Side of the Road.
Van Morrison is also one of the most celebrated performers, after collecting six Grammys and being made a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
