Tricycle theatre to show The Riots and Stones in his Pockets
Date Posted: 23/09/11
Nicholas Kent will sign off as artistic director of the Tricycle theatre with three productions taking the venue through to April next year.
The Riots will open on Thursday November 17th, running for three weeks, and tells the story of the recent riots which took place in London and other areas of the country.
Tweets from taxi drivers and accounts from police officers are used to build a picture of what happened during nights of destruction.
Stones in his Pockets can be seen by those booking London theatre breaks between Thursday December 15th and Saturday February 4th.
This will then be followed up by The Bomb – A Partial History, which runs at the same venue between Thursday February 9th and Sunday April 1st.
From Wednesday October 12th, theatre fans can see Lee Blessing's Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Olivier Award-nominated play A Walk in the Woods.
