Tate Britain Kenneth Clark Show Planned
Date Posted: 15/01/14
Art collector and broadcaster Kenneth Clark is set to be the subject of a Tate Britain show starting this May.
Beginning May 20th and concluding August 10th, some 200 objects are set to be included in the show. Clips taken from Clark's TV series Civilisation and his other TV work are also going to form part of the occasion.
Leonardo da Vinci and Henry Moore are among the big names whose work is set to be represented at the exhibition. Some of the art on show will be taken from Clark's own collection.
Kenneth Clark: Looking for Civilisation set to open between 10:00 BST and 18:00 BST at the gallery every day.
It could be the perfect reason for fans of Clark's work or art fans more widely to take short breaks in London this summer.
A visit to Tate Britain to see the show and the venue's other attractions could be combined with time at other galleries in the capital, for example the National Gallery.
