Strictly stars sign up to tour

Those following the 2014 incarnation of Strictly Come Dancing, one of the most successful entertainment shows of our generation, will no doubt already have tickets to the live tour next year.

Taking place in January and February, the glitter-covered convoy will visit a number of locations across the UK, and it has just announced that more of the current crop of celebrities will be strutting their stuff in the arenas.

Mark Wright of TOWIE, presenter Caroline Flack and showbiz reporter Alison Hammond were the latest to be confirmed by the Saturday night ratings winner. They will join rugby star Thom Evans and Frankie Bridge from The Saturdays, who were reported last month to be taking part in the live tour.

Presenter Zoe Ball, who hosts companion show It Takes Two and stepped up to the mark in the live events when regular presenter Claudia Winkleman was indisposed, will host the arena tour.

Strictly fans will be treated to a close-up look at the judges - Craig Revel-Horwood, Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup? - and will be able to vote themselves on their mobile phones during the live tour.

The celebrities are reportedly excited that their dancing dreams are going to carry on, despite what may happen in the upcoming quarter finals.

"It's going to be great fun to strut my stuff all across the country, but I am particularly excited that we will be opening the tour in Birmingham," commented Hammond. "I am counting on a great home crowd to get us off to a sparkling start!"

Th tour will visit a number of locations across the UK, including Manchester, Glasgow and Nottingham before culminating in a pair of two-date appearances in London at the SSE Arena Wembley (February 5th) and The O2 London (February 7th).
