Date Posted: 10/05/11
Legendary British rockers Status Quo have announced that they will be embarking on a UK arena tour at the end of this year.
They will start off in Sheffield before entertaining fans booking Liverpool hotels when they appear at the city's Echo Arena on Tuesday December 6th.
Further gigs will then follow in Nottingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Newcastle and Glasgow.
The inaugural QuoFest Tour will see the group being supported by Roy Wood and Kim Wilde, providing music fans with over three hours of entertainment.
Status Quo have been rocking for nearly 40 years and have managed to rack up more appearances on Top of the Pops than any other band, thanks to hits such as Whatever You Want, Caroline and Down Down.
Support act Wilde is best known for her 1981 hit Kids in America, with Castle having previously been a member of the Electric Light Orchestra and Wizzard.
