Spectacular floral displays at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park
Date Posted: 25/06/12
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Flower Show Tatton Park returns this year with an array of new exhibits, alongside the usual spectacular floral displays and striking gardens.
Flower fanatics should book short breaks from Wednesday, July 18th to Sunday, July 22nd to the beautiful Cheshire location in order to attend the show.
New exhibits this year include gardens that reflect an instrumental orchestra, a school competition to create colourful fruit and vegetable trugs, front-to-front gardens and a competition for the RHS National Young Designer of the Year 2012.
The first Tatton Park Flower show was held in 1999 on the National Trust estate. It now covers around 28 acres and takes a total of 22 days to put up, but just ten days to take down.
At the initial outing there was 340 exhibitors, but this number has now grown to 505 and there was an astonishing 83,000 visitors last year.
