Sir Alex Ferguson seeks title with Grand National runner

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping to claim his first major trophy this year when a horse he co-owns takes part in the Grand National.
What A Friend will run in front of those on short breaks at Aintree on Saturday April 9th, after trainer Paul Nicholls confirmed it would be in the field as long as the ground is good.
The mount is currently a 16-1 shot having narrowly lost out to Kauto Star in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last week.
Jockey Daryl Jacob will stay on board following his performance at Cheltenham and will be looking to beat The Midnight Club, which is currently the favourite for the race.
"He had three great horses in front of him so we are delighted with him. We might look at the Scottish National," said Sir Alex after the Gold Cup.
Following the Grand National, one of the next big occasions for horse racing fans is Royal Ascot, taking place between Tuesday June 14th and Saturday 18th.
