Shakespeare's 'Dream' Hits London This Summer
Date Posted: 04/06/13

Fairies, lovers and a group of men putting on a play are just some of the characters who come together in A Midsummer Night's Dream, one of Shakespeare's most famous comic plays.
If you've yet to see the play or would simply like to give this magical story a go, where better to see it than at The Globe, which adds a twist of historical authenticity to performances of works by the Bard.
A production of the comedy has just kicked off at the famed London theatrical venue and could be one of the activities people choose to enjoy as part of weekend breaks in the capital.
In this staging of the play, Bottom, one of the story's most comical characters, is being played by Pearce Quigley, while Matthew Tennyson is portraying the fairy Puck.
You can find Shakespeare's Globe on the South Bank of the Thames.
