See the peerless Barry Manilow in Glasgow
Date Posted: 29/04/14
Peerless showman Barry Manilow shows no sign of slowing down in his 70th year and has, in fact, scheduled another string of shows around the world that are sure to keep him spry.
The veteran entertainer will be coming to Glasgow's SECC on Monday 19th May 2014, for a performance that is sure to please audience members of all ages.
Over the decades, he's inspired countless people across several generations with great pop and rock songs including Mandy, Copacabana (at the Copa) and Can't Smile Without You.
He's been performing for six decades and has amassed 80 million global record sales in that time - an achievement that puts him among the best-selling artists of all time.
As well as winning countless awards for his own music, Manilow has also written for many of the biggest names in the business, including the likes of Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick.
There's no way he can adequately represent his 40 album strong life's work in a single night, but even a couple of hours in his company will be well worth the price of admission.
If you've managed to get hold of tickets, there's still plenty of time to sort out some last minute accommodation in Glasgow before the show.
