To coincide with the 60th anniversary of David Hockney’s first print, the Dulwich Picture Gallery will be putting on an exhibition running until May 11th.
The new exhibit celebrates David Hockney’s fruitful career as a printmaker and displays around 100 works which give an overview of his graphics and reveal his technical expertise.
The display focuses on etching and lithography and will feature some of the artists well known works such as 'Six Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm' and 'A Rake’s Progress'.
There will also be a selection of Hockney’s homemade prints on display, as well as his computer art using iPads.
The Dulwich Picture Gallery was England’s first public art gallery, it was founded in 1811.
Visit the exhibition as part of a short break to the capital, perhaps treating yourself to a dinner in a top restaurant, a West End Show and a London hotel.
