Photos Showing Fictions Feature in V&A Display
Date Posted: 24/01/14
The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London is one of the capital's most widely known museums.
At the moment one of the temporary displays at the venue is all about photography with a twist of the fictitious.
'Making it Up: Photographic Fictions' opened on August 19th last year in Room 38a and will be in place until the spring, closing March 19th 2014.
Themed around photos that evoke imaginary things or tell a story, there are pieces from creators working in the 1800s, like Julia Margaret Cameron among those on show.
A range of contemporary artists are also represented in the pieces on display in this small-scale exhibition.
Remember that a trip to London can easily be filled with visits to the various museums and galleries in the city. Why not hit the V&A, then check out the British Museum and the Museum of London, for example?
And if you won't have time to see every museum you want to in a day, London hotels offer the answer, in the form of comfortable accommodation.
