Peter Kay announces six extra 'farewell' tour dates
Date Posted: 04/11/10
Peter Kay has added six extra 'farewell' dates to his tour next year, with additional appearances planned for Manchester, London and Birmingham.
The Bolton funnyman, who became the first ever stand-up to play ten sold out nights at the capital's O2 arena, is extending the tour due to "ongoing phenomenal demand".
Fans of the comic might want to book Birmingham hotels for his gigs at the LG Arena on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th of June.
He will also be returning to where it all began - The O2 in London - on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th of June, before playing Manchester's MEN Arena on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th of October.
Kay, who made his name as a comedian in Bolton before appearing in the critically-acclaimed Phoenix Nights, is one of the most successful comics in Britain, and still holds the record for the biggest selling stand-up DVD and autobiography of all time.
