Date Posted: 22/07/13
The artist Paolo Veronese is set to be the subject of an exhibition at London's National Gallery next year.
The show dedicated to this 16th century painter is due to kick-off at the famed art space on March 19th 2014.
Promised to feature around 45 pieces by the artist, who lived between 1528 and 1588, it is called 'Veronese: Magnificence in Renaissance Venice'. Running for around three months, the show will close on June 15th 2014.
The gallery is the owner of 10 paintings by the artist, 'Allegories of Love' among them. These are set to be contextualised against some of his other works for the spring show.
Heading to London for the show, or another of the National Gallery's exhibitions? Make the trip a city break by looking into London hotels and booking one for your time in the capital.
