Nicola Stephenson and Patrick Robinson climb on the War Horse
Date Posted: 04/03/11

Patrick Robinson and Nicola Stephenson are both preparing to star in War Horse from next week, it has been revealed.
The pair, who are best known for their roles in BBC medical dramas Casualty and Holby City respectively, will be appearing in the National Theatre production at the New London theatre from Wednesday March 9th.
Robinson will take up the role of soldier Friedrich Muller, while Stephenson will star as the mother of the main character Albert, who runs away to France in order to find his horse Joey.
Both actors have experience walking the boards, with Stephenson having played roles in Edmund and His Girl Friday, while Robinson has appeared in Mappa Mundi and Festen.
War Horse has been playing to fans of London theatre breaks for five years and earlier this year rehearsals started for a spectacular Broadway version, headed up by a creative team from the capital.
