New Activities on Offer at Scottish Lochs
Date Posted: 10/04/13
Visitors to Glasgow hotels who want to get out of the city for a day will soon be able to take advantage of a selection of new excursions at the nearby Loch Lomond and Clyde Sea Loch, which have been launched to celebrate The Year of Natural Scotland 2013.
Two new nature cruises from Cruise Loch Lomond are to make their maiden voyages this summer, including the RSPB Nature Cruise which will take visitors to the Inversnaid RSPB Reserve on the eastern shore of the loch.
Located just outside Glasgow itself, the two lochs offer stunning natural beauty and an array of wildlife, with budding photographers now able to take advantage of a brand new lochside digital photography course being offered by Knockderry House Hotel on Loch Long.
The Year of Natural Scotland 2013 is a new initiative launched by VisitScotland, which aims to promote the many activities that can be enjoyed in the great outdoors throughout the country.
