Nadine Coyle confirms Girls Aloud reunion in 2012
Date Posted: 19/07/11
Girls Aloud are to reunite for a 10th anniversary performance next year, band member Nadine Coyle has finally confirmed.
Rumours had been flying for months that the group would be taking to the stage as a five-piece again to celebrate a decade on the music scene.
Nadine, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Cole formed during the TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002.
"We're definitely going to do something. But it's a whole huge production. Girls Aloud is not just us five, there's like us five plus a ridiculous team of 50 who travel with us, it's amazing," Nadine told internet radio host Dean Kelly.
No more details have been released yet, but when they are cheap hotels in the cities they play are likely to be booked up early.
Girls Aloud entered the Guinness Book of Records as the girl group with the largest number of consecutive top ten singles and have embarked on four sold-out arena tours.
