Monty Python's Spamalot to transfer to the Playhouse Theatre
Date Posted: 29/08/12
Monty Python's Spamalot will continue to leave audiences in raucous laughter in London's West End, as it moves to the Playhouse Theatre after its successful spell at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
It will finish at its current location on Sunday, September 9th before re-opening at its new home for fans booking theatre breaks in London on Wednesday, November 14th.
The Eric Idle and John Du Prez comedy musical hit the stage in the capital for the first time in 2006, drawing largely on the celebrated film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which told the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
Among the songs in the musical are Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, He is Not Dead Yet, Knights of the Round Table and Find Your Grail.
At present it is unknown whether or not the cast from the Harold Pinter production will move to the Playhouse.
