Wizard of Oz will continue to feature Michael Crawford until next year after his run in the production was extended by five months.
Those booking London theatre breaks will now be able to see the original Phantom until Sunday February 5th 2012, lengthening his stay from Sunday September 4th.
The play is currently running at the London Palladium, after it opened its doors to the public in March this year.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, it stars Danielle Hope as Dorothy after she won the BBC talent show Over The Rainbow.
Hannah Waddingham plays the Wicked Witch of the West and Edward Baker-Duly takes on the role of the Tin Man.
As well as making his stage name as the original Phantom, Crawford appeared in Lord Lloyd Webber's The Woman in White, while he also played the role of Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em.
