London's longest-running play extends booking period
Date Posted: 18/07/14
With so many top shows being produced all the time, competition for stage space is high in London's West End, which is why when a play has been running continuously for more than six decades, you can be pretty sure that it's a little bit special.
So, if you're looking for a great evening of entertainment next time you check into a London hotel, you might want to get tickets for Mousetrap at the St Martin's Theatre. Indeed, the show - which was originally written as a radio play by Agatha Christie - first opened in the capital way back in 1956, and has remained a fixture in Theatreland ever since.
If you've not had the opportunity to see this thrilling murder mystery yet then you'll be pleased to hear that the production has just extended its booking period even further, and will remain at the venue until at least the end of June next year.
