London can be done on a budget, expert says

Short breaks to London do not have to be extortionately expensive as there is plenty to do for those on a tight budget, a London travel expert says.
A spokeswoman for The London Pass, a prepaid London sightseeing card, explains that travellers to London want to see as many places as possible, such as the Globe Theatre, Tower of London or St Paul's Cathedral, to name a few.
These can be done on a budget using the London Pass. She says: "One low upfront price covers entry to a choice of over 55 top attractions, and the more you see, the more you save.
"Queue jumping privileges allow you to avoid the queue at the busiest sights. Even if you are only able to see the city for a day, you start saving money on the third attraction you visit."
Among the myriad of attractions available to users of the pass, there are plenty of family-friendly places such as the London Zoo and Pollock's Toy Museum.
However, if visitors are really on a budget, one of the best ways to see the history and culture of London is to just wander around.
Museums such as the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are also free and can easily eat up a day.
