The Lightning Child to Open at The Globe
Date Posted: 07/08/13
September 14th this year marks the opening of play The Lightning Child at Shakespeare's Globe, a fantastic London theatre.
The production is set to run at the venue until October 12th 2013.
According to the venue's website, the piece is inspired by The Bacchae by Euripides and has been penned by Che Walker and Arthur Darvill.
The venue warns that the play, which Matthew Dunster is directing, involves some 'strong content' as well as 'filthy language'.
On September 28th a question and answer session with people involved in the production is set to take place.
Meanwhile, The Globe is currently staging several Shakespeare plays including the comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream and the tragedy Macbeth. The Tempest is also on show at the venue and will end its run later this month.
This brilliant theatre could be a great venue to plan theatre breaks in London around.
