Crowds have flocked to see a new exhibition in the Midlands which is showing off the work of Leonardo da Vinci.
Ten drawings which are part of the Royal Collection are currently being displayed at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.
Art lovers booking Birmingham hotels are expected to be among at least 20,000 visitors attending the free exhibition before it closes on Sunday March 25th.
Brian Travers, a performer with UB40, who was among the crowd for the start of the display, told the Birmingham Mail that he felt "incredibly privileged" to be able to see da Vinci's work.
"Getting this collection is fantastic, it’s a great coup for the city. The greatest thing about the exhibition is that it will draw people into the gallery to see other artists," he added.
Currently, Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan is running at the National Gallery in London, with Roy Strong, writing in the Daily Telegraph, stating that it is one of the "exhibitions of the century".
