Legally Blonde posts closing notices after 2-year run at the Savoy

Legally Blonde: The Musical will enjoy its last dance this spring after closing notices were posted.
The show has been a London theatre breaks favourite for the past two years since it opened at the Savoy, with its finale taking place on Saturday April 7th.
Originally, Sheridan Smith made the lead role of Elle Woods her own, with Duncan James, Alex Gaumond and Jill Halfpenny also starring.
Last year, it picked up three Laurence Olivier Awards as it was chosen as the Best New Musical, with Smith and Halfpenny also picking up gongs for their contributions.
In October, former Emmerdale star Ben Freeman joined the production, while the show has also welcomed well-known personalities like Susan McFadden, Carley Stenson, Denise Van Outen, Natalie Casey and Richard Fleeshman.
The production has been a favourite among reviewers since it started, with Benedict Nightingale, writing for the Times, stating that it is a "delightful, annoying, supremely wishful musical".
