Keira Knightley's Children's Hour adds an extra week to London run
Date Posted: 18/02/11

Keira Knightley's Children's Hour has extended its run at the Comedy theatre by an extra week, those looking for theatre breaks have been told.
It had previously been set to close on Saturday April 30th, however, this date has now been moved to Saturday May 7th.
The move comes after Ambassadors Theatre Group cancelled a performance earlier this week (Monday February 14th).
"We regret to say that tonight’s performance of The Children’s Hour has been cancelled due to essential building repairs at the Comedy theatre. We regret any inconvenience this has caused and will endeavour to exchange all tickets for a future performance of The Children’s Hour," the organisation said in a statement.
Children's Hour tells the tale of a 1930s New England girls' boarding school, where Knightley and her co-star Elisabeth Moss are accused of being secret lovers.
Michael Billington, writing for the Guardian, gave the play a three-star review and said that both actresses prove to be "as potent a combination on stage as at the box office".
