John Craxton Exhibition to Open in Cambridge
Date Posted: 04/11/13
The Mellon Gallery in Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum is set to present an exhibition called 'A world of private mystery: John Craxton, RA (1922-2009)' starting in December this year.
According to organisers, it's the first time an exhibition will look at the artist's entire life, and the show will kick off December 3rd, coming to a close on April 21st 2014.
The display will cost nothing for people to enter, and could prove a great way to pass time for anyone on short breaks in the city, for example.
There will be more than 60 pieces by the artist on show, which the museum claims will show how his painting was always evolving.
While you're in Cambridge, why not check whether anything you want to see is being performed at the ADC - the university's famous theatre, or take a trip around to see the architecture of some of its historical colleges?
