London's famous Jack the Ripper Murders Tour has been a popular attraction among visitors to the capital for a number of years, although anyone who happens to be in the area this week may find the walks particularly appealing.
That's because today (April 4th) marks the 125th anniversary of the mysterious killer's first murder, which took place on the streets of Whitechapel back in 1888.
Hotels in London are sure to be full of history lovers and amateur detectives this week, with the legend of the Ripper having captivated countless people across the world for more than a century.
Tours take place daily at both 3.30pm and 6.00pm, with tickets available for as little as £10.
Visitors will be guided by an expert historian who will show them around some of the most iconic areas of east London, taking in all of the spots where Jack the Ripper committed his murders.
