Howler to headline NME Generation Next Tour
Date Posted: 02/08/12
Up and coming rockers Howler are set to headline the NME Next Generation Tour later this year, with support from Gross Magic and The Cast of Cheers.
Fans of the bands should book Bournemouth hotels for Friday, October 19th to catch the first date of the tour, which takes place at the Old Fire Station.
The tour then hits up ten more cities, including Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and London, before finishing at Brighton's The Haunt on Wednesday, October 31st.
Straight out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, NME named the act their number three best band of 2011 for their infectious Stokes-esque guitar rock found on their debut album America Give Up.
Audiences may be disappointed to not see an array of actors on stage for support act, The Cast of Cheers, but they will witness one of the best math rock bands around right now, while Gross magic will bring a more lo-fi flavour.
They could be set for big things, with previous NME tour acts, such as Crystal Castles and Everything Everything, going on to bigger and better things.
