Gerard Kearns and Matthew Kelly to star in Sign of the Times

Gerard Kearns and Matthew Kelly are starring in a new comedy by Tim Firth which opens at the Duchess Theatre next month.
People booking weekend theatre breaks will be able to see the pair in action in Sign of the Times, which runs from Friday March 11th until Saturday May 28th.
Kearns has made his name playing the role of Ian Gallagher in the cult Channel 4 show Shameless, while he also appeared in Ken Loach's Looking for Eric.
Kelly has a whole list of credits from the small screen and stage, and is best known for hosting Stars in Their Eyes.
He has also starred in London productions Waiting for Godot and Of Mice and Men.
Sign of the Times tells the story of Frank Tollit (Kelly) who is looking to fulfil his literary ambitions, which is a move away from his daily work with letters, which sees him erecting signs at large shops.
However, salvation turns up in the shape of a clumsy teenager (Kearns) who arrives on work experience.
In 2009, Stephen Tompkinson starred in a tour of Sign of the Times.
