Football League Exhibition in Manchester
Date Posted: 31/01/14
There's an exhibition on show in Manchester that's all about the history of the football league, based in the city's museum dedicated to the beautiful game.
Game Changers: 125 Years of the Football League opened in Manchester September 20th last year at the National Football Museum.
It marks the anniversary of the very first football league and has been put together by The Football League and the museum.
The exhibition will conclude at the museum in the spring, on April 27th this year. Its features include some of George Best's mementoes, stories from present league teams and interactive artwork.
Taking a break at Manchester hotels means taking a break in one of England's greatest cities, with no shortage of things to do. The Football Museum is close to the Manchester Art Gallery, the Royal Exchange Theatre and the Arndale shopping centre, for example.
