Festival Fun in Brighton this May
Date Posted: 08/03/13

Families looking for somewhere to spend fun-filled weekend breaks together this May might want to consider a trip to Brighton, where there is plenty going on.
The seaside city hosts a total of four major arts festivals in May, meaning there are loads of activities on offer to keep visitors of all ages entertained.
The Brighton Festival and its sister event Brighton Fringe both start on May 4th and run throughout the month.
They will see all manner of performances and events taking place at venues across the city, from plays to stand-up shows, puppet theatre and live music.
Meanwhile, Artists' Open Houses runs from May 4th to 26th and will see thousands of works by contemporary artists go on display in the homes and workshops of the creators themselves.
Finally, House (May 5th to 27th) is Brighton's curated and programmed visual arts festival and this year will feature a new work by artist Mariele Neudecker.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy Neudecker's installation in the Regency Town House in Hove, where each storey of the building will represent a different level of the planet.
