Exeter's RAMM is the place to be this summer
Date Posted: 17/07/14
If you're planning a trip to the south-west over the coming weeks or months then one place you should definitely make sure you check out is Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery (RAMM), where a range of fantastic events, activities and exhibitions are currently being held.
Among the most fascinating of these is a display focusing on Fijian Art, much of which was collected during the period when the Pacific island was under the control of the British Empire. Items such as decorative whale ivy and much more are on show, and the exhibit is set to run until December of this year.
What's more, an amazing programme of exhibitions will be running across the next four years in order to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. The series of events has already begun, and will be providing a comprehensive look at the impact that the conflict had on the south-west, before finally coming to an end in 2018.
With so much going on at the RAMM, Exeter is a brilliant choice for a short break this summer.
