The full cast for The Duchess of Malfi has been announced, with Tom Bateman, Finbar Lynch, Mark Bonnar and Harry Lloyd joining Eve Best.
Stage fans booking city breaks will be able to see the production at the Old Vic theatre when it opens on Saturday March 17th, running at the venue until Saturday June 9th.
The Duchess of Malfi was written in the early 1600s, and tells the story of the title character, who has recently been widowed and then secretly marries her steward despite protestations from her brothers.
Death and hysteria ensues, but the Duchess manages to keep her calm and dignity amid the scenes of devastation.
Best has built up an impressive list of credits, including 2010 film The King's Speech and television series Nurse Jackie.
She will be supported by Bateman, who recently starred in the stage versions of The Lion in Winter and Much Ado About Nothing.
