England seek new manager for Holland match after Fabio Capello quits

England are on the lookout for a new manager after Fabio Capello quit his role.
The FA will need to act quickly to appoint his successor, as the national side takes on Holland at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday February 29th.
Among the early front-runners to take over from the Italian are current Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp, and England under 21 coach Stuart Pearce.
In a statement, the FA said that Capello relinquished his role after a disagreement over former captain John Terry.
The Chelsea skipper is currently awaiting trial over allegedly racially abusing a fellow player, and the FA stripped Terry of the captaincy until the case is dealt with – a move that angered Capello.
Fans booking London hotels for the Holland friendly could well see a new manager make his debut, with the FA keen to ensure stability ahead of this summer's Euro 2012 tournament, which is taking place in Poland and the Ukraine.
