Edinburgh Art Festival Reveals 'Most Ambitious' Programme
Date Posted: 04/04/13

The programme for the 2013 Edinburgh Art Festival has been announced, with organisers describing this year's event as the "most ambitious yet".
Now in its tenth year, the festival will be taking place throughout the month of August, during which time Edinburgh hotels are likely to be fully booked, which is why anyone planning on attending the event is advised to arrange their accommodation as early as possible.
The theme for this year's festival is 'Parley', with works designed to represent the ability of art to generate conversation and discussion.
Included in the line-up is The Complaints Choir, which has put out an open invitation to Edinburgh residents to join the performance.
Composed by Daniel Padden and Peter Nicholson, the choir will create a number of songs based on the complaints of members of the local community.
The festival will be taking place at 30 museums across the city, with more than 45 exhibitions being featured.
