Duchess of Cambridge's dress now on display at Buckingham Palace

The dress which Catherine Middleton wore when she married Prince William is now on display at Buckingham Palace.
Designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, the garment can be seen by those booking London hotels until Monday October 3rd.
Furthermore, visitors to the Palace, which was the venue for the wedding reception, will also be able to view the Duchess of Cambridge's tiara, veil, bridal shoes and diamond earrings.
"It has an essence of Victorian but we cut the dress in a very modern way. It is in a very light fabric. Also the pleats and the folds create a modern feel rather than a historical piece. I think what we wanted to achieve was something that was incredibly beautiful and intricately worked," said Ms Burton.
The wedding exhibition opens up the Buckingham Palace viewing season, where visitors can experience the State Rooms, featuring paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Poussin.
